Produced in 1980-1981. Came out as am radio was on the decline. Outstanding
sensitivity, excellent selectivity, free of spurious noise with the exception of
images 910 KHz down from strong locals. Linear analog dial; upper portion of the
dial, say 1200KHz -1600KHz not scrunched up into a small portion of the dial. A
rotary dial featuring station calls from the 10 geographical regions of of
choice in addition to a standard choice of every 100 KHz labeling ( rotary
choice 5, for example, had mw calls from Texas and states that corresponded to
the "5" ham calls). This is the most sensitive and selective
combination that is free of spurious noise in a mw portable that I have had.
