The new SANGEAN PR-D5 is similar in sensitivity to the SONY
ICF-S5W. It has a digital display, and can tune in 10 or 9 KHz steps. 5
presets. Good selectivity, but not as selective as the SONY
ICF-S5W. It does not reject locals 10 KHz away from a weak station of
interest as effectively as the SONY, and nulls out locals over a much smaller
sweep of a 360 circle than the SONY. Mixing products can result on weak signals
sandwiched between 2 locals 60 KHz apart.
